Our new cardiopulmonary bypass simulator, the ORPHEUS, is the centre-piece of training for perfusion scientists, cardiac surgeons, anaesthetists, theatre and critical care nursing and medical staff.
Using High Fidelity Simulation Cardiothoracic Registrars were exposed and trained in the importance of Communication and Teamworking within the Theatre Environment during a two day Cardiothoracic Human Factors Course (June 2015)
